Are there many contractors using machine control?

While it is true that there are a large number of machines equipped with machine control solutions in the market, our defining factor is that we are able to create, control, and capture our own surface data. The biggest hurdle to technology being implemented in earthworks is the availability of quality surface data. We find that even data from established and reputable engineering firms often has issues that make machine control not work as effectively as possible. Issues like points that have been triangulated incorrectly can throw out a grader blade and most operators with no technical background simply have no idea what the issue is. This can lead to extended and costly back and forth between operator, modeller and client to determine and resolve the issue. Because our founders have backgrounds in engineering and professional 3D modelling for the construction industry, we can manage all our 3D modelling in house. With a number of our own innovative surface checking methods, we are able to remove these common problems and siteworks can proceed without hiccup.
